Vogue and Vodka – Vino California 2013 Dinner

Last week I was invited to attend a dinner for Vino California 2013 at Aventine in Hollywood. Produced by the, Italy-America Chamber of Commerce West, Vino California is the largest native Italian wine festival on the West coast. The event consists of tastings and dinners to help introduce Italian wines to the palates of California. The dinner I attended was just perfect. We sampled delicious dishes that were accompanied by amazing wine pairings. Sometimes I forget just how amazing food and wine can be when paired together properly! Mmmmm!

Hauteliving.com – Vino California Rolls Out the Red Carpet for Italian Wines

Italy came to LA last week in the shape of Vino California, the largest native Italian wine celebration on the West Coast.

The week-long wine party featured seminars, pairing dinners at Los Angeles’ top Italian restaurants and spirit-focused happy hours enjoyed by wine connoisseurs, wine professionals and consumers alike.

In its third year, the week — presented by the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce West in collaboration with Blue Lifestyle and The Tasting Panel magazine — kicked off with a grand tasting at the Skirball Center with more than 100 native wine varietals from 18 regions on display. The Grand Tasting also featured two seminars on the Calabria region as well as a broad overview of various Italian varietals.
